FiberWorx Mono Plus

FiberWorx Mono Plus is classified as microsynthetic fiber and has been tested in accordance with ICC ES AC32 specifically for use as a 3-dimensional plastic shrinkage reinforcement at a dosage rate of .5 lbs per cubic yard. Commercial lab tests were completed using ASTM Test Method C1579 - FiberWorx Mono Plus meets the requirements of ASTM C1116, Section 4.1.3 as well as ASTM D7508 and exceeds the minimum requirements for plastic shrinkage crack control at .5 lbs per cubic yard.

FiberWorx 300

Monahan FiberWorx 300 is classified as microsythetic fibers based on a number of criteria that include configuration, length, and composition. FiberWorx 300 meets the requirements of ASTM C1116, Section 4.1.3 as well as ASTM D7508. Further FiberWorx 300 is a homopolymer polypropylene resin fibrillated tape fiber meeting the minimum requirement for plastic shrinkage crack control and temperature shrinkage control per ICC ES AC32 3.1.1 and 3.1.2 respectively.

Macro Fibers

Durastran®

Durastran® Synthetic Macro-Fiber is a semi-rigid, embossed “stick-type” fiber engineered to minimize shrinkage in both plastic and hardened concrete. The Durastran® Fibers work to increase the concrete’s toughness and its ability to absorb more energy and control post-crack forces. As a field-proven replacement for conventional steel when used as secondary reinforcement, the Durastran® Fibers bond with the matrix to help dissipate the energy and carry the load beyond the concrete’s original design strength and capability.

Durastran®2X

Durastran 2X is a macro synthetic fiber manufactured with a special blend of homopolymer polypropylene and polyethylene to develop those properties required to maximize 3-dimensional benefits in hardened cement concrete. Durastran 2X is a less rigid stick type fiber which is embossed to maximize the mechanical bond with the concrete. Durastran 2X complies ASTM C1116 Section 4.1.3 Type III, as well as with the definitions and product OC requirements found in ASTM D7508.

Durastran®HB

Durastran® HB Hybrid Blend is a Total Crack Management System! This occurs in stages as the concrete goes through its curing process. The HB Blend of Fibers work together from the first minutes of the freshly placed concrete, through the stresses that develop from plastic and temperature shrinkage—even through drying shrinkage of hardened concrete over time.

Durastran®4X

Durastran 4X is a macro synthetic fiber manufactured with a special blend of homopolymer polypropylene and polyethylene to develop those properties required to maximize 3-dimensional benefits in hardened cement concrete. Durastran 4X is a tape fiber with a rectangular cross-section, which is embossed to maximize the mechanical bond with the concrete. Durastran 4X complies ASTM C1116 Section 4.1.3 Type III, as well as with the definitions and product QC requirements found in ASTM D7508.

FiberWorx 650 T

FiberWorx 650 T is a macrosynthetic fiber created from a blend of polyolefin resins, complying with ASTM C 1116 Type III fibers. This fiber, characterized by its tape form, is specially designed and produced to minimize shrinkage in both plastic and hardened concrete, to enhance fatigue resistance and concrete toughness, and to boost impact resistance. The specific dimensions of FiberWorx 650 T are essential to its performance, as validated by ASTM C1609 standards, while exhibiting superior distribution and finishing properties. Independent testing confirms that FiberWorx 650 T can substitute for the use of wire mesh and rebar in non-structural applications.

FiberWorx 300 DOT

FiberWorx 300 DOT is a macrosynthetic fiber created from a blend of polyolefin resins, complying with ASTM C 1116 Type III fibers. This fiber, characterized by its fibrillated tape form, is specially designed and produced to minimize shrinkage in both plastic and hardened concrete, to enhance fatigue resistance and concrete toughness, and to boost impact resistance. The specific dimensions of FiberWorx 300 DOT are essential to its performance, as validated by ASTM C1609 standards, while exhibiting superior distribution and finishing properties. Independent testing confirms that FiberWorx 300 DOT can substitute for the use of wire mesh and rebar in non-structural applications.

FiberWorx P4500

FiberWorx P4500 is a macrosynthetic fiber created from a blend of polyolefin resins complying with ASTM C 1116 Type III fibers. FiberWorx P4500 is a more rigid stick type fiber, and contains a crimped pattern to enhance the bond with hardened concrete. It is specifically designed and produced to minimize shrinkage in hardened concrete and to enhance fatigue resistance and concrete toughness, as well as impact resistance. Recent independent ASTM C1609 testing confirms that FiberWorx P4500 may exceed the performance of other macrosynthetic fibers available in the market.
